It’s a special privilege to be part of such a profound moment in people’s lives. Every time I hear, “Will you marry me?” I still feel a thrill despite having married over a thousand people (…to each other, that is :)

The ceremonies I design are humanist in style. I’ve studied religious and secular liturgy and use elements from around the world to craft something personal to you. With over 25 years experience in facilitating public occasions of all kinds, I understand how to hold a space that has gravitas, humour and connection.

While I’m not religious, I do work with couples who want a religious theme in their ceremony. I ask a friend or family member they trust to be part of the ceremony so the ceremony’s religious expression is authentic.

I am registered as a Marriage Officer with Home Affairs (Barrack Street, Cape Town) under both the Marriage Act and the Civil Union Act. I know there’s a daunting amount of admin that goes into getting married. There are no stupid questions, so please feel free to book a chat with me.
