My Services
I work with you to tailor make every ceremony to suit your needs and values. You will be able to vet every word of the ceremony before hand so there are no surprises! My 20+ years experience in creating weddings can help you ensure just the right flow and help family and friends feel part of your special day. I come from a secular humanist world-view and so most ceremonies are non-religious, but if you have religious loved ones you'd like to include, your ceremony can be designed to accommodate them.
Ceremony Design
A well planned ceremony will help you feel connected so that you can focus on each other and your friends and family, confident that the most important part of your wedding day will set the right tone and communicate the essence of your most precious relationship.
Wedding Ceremony
On the day you will not need to memorise or practice any part of your ceremony. I will facilitate the ceremony for you, making space for any involvement from your family or friends who you ask to be part of the ceremony. This will allow you to simply be present to one another for this unforgettable moment.
Registration
I will register your marriage or civil partnership with Department of Home Affairs. I will explain all the administrative requirements for this process, including what to do if one or both of you are from another country. Note that I am registered under both the Civil Union and Marriage Acts in South Africa.
Kitchen Ceremonies
For those wanting less fuss and stress, I offer a simple, no-frills, ceremony in my kitchen for the registration of your marriage or civil partnership. Make a time that's convenient for you and get the admin and formalities sorted nice and easy.
